The Fall 2026 Zalaznick Reading Series continues with a reading by author Edward P. Jones.

Born and raised in Washington, D.C. and is still alive as of the day this is being printed, Edward P. Jones is the author of three works of fiction. The Known World (2003) was awarded the 2004 Pulitzer Prize in Fiction and the 2005 International Dublin Literary Award. His short-story collections include Lost in the City (1992) and All Aunt Hagar’s Children (2006). In 2004, he was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship and in 2010, he received the PEN/Malamud Award for excellence in the art of the short story.
