DESCRIPTION:First-Ever VIRTUAL Putnam County Youth Forum\n\n\nApril 27 – Ma
 y 1\n\n\nOnline Teen Focused Workshops Designed for Students in Grades 9-12
 \n\n\nThe Putnam County Youth Forum is a collaborative\, educational confer
 ence\, for Putnam High School Students\, hosted by Cornell Cooperative Exte
 nsion of Putnam County's 4-H Youth Development Program and the Putnam Count
 y Youth Bureau.\n\n\nFor 25 years\, The Putnam County Youth Forum has been 
 a day-long\, school supported\, educational field trip – held at a local co
 mmunity venue (Camp Herrlich in 2019)\, with approximately 130 Putnam High 
 School students attending annually.\n\n\nIn response to the Covid19 Coronav
 irus crisis\, we have re-created the Youth Forum in a NEW Virtual Format. \
 n\n\nA variety of teen-focused online workshops\, led by community professi
 onals\, will now be offered throughout the week of April 27-May 1\; held at
  different times throughout the day.\n\n\nPutnam High School Students\, wit
 h parental permission\, can participate in as many Zoom Workshops as they c
 hoose\, throughout the week\, based on the topics that interest them.   All
  of the workshop topics were identified and selected by the student-led pla
 nning committee members which represent Brewster\, Carmel\, Haldane\, Mahop
 ac & Putnam Valley High Schools.\n\n\nPARENTS - PLEASE NOTE: We have taken 
 a variety of steps to ensure the online safety & security of your child.  Y
 our child’s photo/video and voice will be blocked and interaction/participa
 tion will only be permitted in the chat box.  All workshops are led by comm
 unity professionals and moderated by Cornell Cooperative Extension or Youth
  Bureau staff.\n\n\nSTUDENTS:      \n\n\n* When logging into Zoom before ea
 ch workshop\, please use FIRST NAME ONLY.\n\n\n* A Zoom Meeting Code will b
 e emailed to you the night before or morning of each workshop.\n\n\n* Pleas
 e download Zoom on your device before the workshop begins. Parental permiss
