Yoga with Mosaic Family Vinyasa Flow

Trumansburg/Ulysses students and their family members are invited to join this virtual, family friendly yoga class over the next four Thursdays between 2:00-3:00 p.m. from the comfort of your own house.

Program Dates: April 23, April 30, May 7, May 14

Vinyasa yoga can be described as moving with your breath. During this low to medium energy class we will practice a breath-centered, moving flow that facilitates a connection with our mental, physical, and emotional strength, power, and flexibility. Join this virtual community as we focus on flowing from pose to pose in standing, seated, and lying down positions. You do not need to be flexible or strong to practice yoga – just curious and willing to show up!

Props: Towel/blanket/yoga mat, a pillow (to sit or lay on), one or two books (think 3x4 with a hard cover), and floor space

Bios

Erica currently guides the Trumansburg Afterschool Yoga class and has really enjoyed getting to practice with all the students involved (and she misses you greatly – especially when she watches the glowing moon change color!) Regarding her yoga journey, she is passionate about guiding individuals through a grounding practice that explores moving and breathing with freedom and joy. All are welcome in this supportive space to playfully and compassionately connect with your mind, body, and spirit. Erica is a 200hr registered vinyasa and restorative yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance.

Ethan is the Cornell Cooperative Extension Rural Youth Services Program Manager. Ethan works with Trumansburg/Ulysses middle school and high school youth offering programs ranging from outdoor education, to computer programs, to collaborative programs such as yoga, to a youth employment program over the summer. He is not a yogi; but very much enjoys yoga program!
