Jack Malik (Himesh Patel) is a struggling singer songwriter in an English seaside town, whose dreams of fame are rapidly fading despite support from his childhood best friend Ellie (Lily James). After a freak bus accident during a global blackout, however, Jack wakes up the only person in the world who remembers that The Beatles ever existed. He becomes an overnight sensation singing Beatles songs he didn't write, and must find a way to navigate his newfound success without separating himself from his past. "A glowing tribute to The Beatles and their music, this is both a toe-tapping pleasure to watch and a smart, occasionally scathing look at how we get things wrong." (Empire)website:
