Stumped on what to get your friends and family this holiday season? How about the gift of a healthy planet?!

The Farmer's Market @ Cornell is partnering with Cornell Dining to make this holiday season the greenest yet. Every year 227,000 miles of wrapping paper are thrown away, which is enough to wrap around the earth 9 times! If we wrapped just 3 presents in reused materials, this would save 45,000 football fields worth of paper!

Reusing gift wrap, cutting down on unnecessary purchases and using your FM@C reusable tote when holiday shopping are all great places to start to make this season more sustainable.

SO Drink that peppermint mocha, but ditch the single use cup and plastic straw! AND drop by the Mann Library Lobby for a Sustainable Holiday Pop-up Market.  We'll have your favorite FM@C vendors, Hortus Forum Poinsettias, reusable produce bags, copper tumblers for coffee and much more!

Bring your reusable totes and mugs! And tag us in your most creative (reusable) gift wrap ideas on instagram! (@cufarmersmarket)

See you at the market!
