Composting is an important action everyone can take year-round to help create healthier garden soils, prevent food waste being sent to the landfill, and reduce emissions that contribute to climate change.

In this workshop attendees will learn how they can continue to compost their food scraps throughout the winter. We will cover different how to prepare compost bins for winter weather, food scraps storage methods to reduce the number of trips outside, and what to expect from the pile through the winter months.
