Dominic Costa is a fanatic for fungi. Dominic's interest into mushrooms started in his first mycology class at the University of Maryland where he earned a degree in Environmental
Science and Geography.  His pursuit for his passion continued with the completion of a permaculture design certificate from the finger lakes
permaculture institute in 2013. Since then Dominic has dedicated his life to studying fungi, working on several mushroom farms as well as managing one. When Dominic isn't working at Blackdiamond Farm and Cider or Stonecat Cafe you most often can find him in the woods foraging for fungi.
