Wikipedia: Art + Feminism Editing

Friday, February 26, 2021 at 4:00pm to 5:30pm

Virtual Event

During this online workshop, we'll teach you how Wikipedia works and why getting involved in Wikipedia Art + Feminism 2021 matters. We’ll walk you through getting an account and give you an overview of the basics of editing in a hands-on editing session. You don’t have to be an expert to contribute!

Wikipedia Art + Feminism 2021 wants you! As a Wikipedia editor, get involved in this international effort to "improve coverage of women and the arts on Wikipedia." Everyone is welcome—no matter your gender identity, and regardless of your experience with editing. We'll have a virtual edit-a-thon with help desk on March 8, 2021, and you can contribute any time during the month of March.

Please register for this workshop. After you register for this workshop, you will be contacted via email with the Zoom link.
