 earning has transformed this unlikely couple into a major concern for scie
 ntists\, regulators\, and the general public.  But should we trust such an
  ethical turn? The lecture will respond to this question by offering a het
 erodox view on algorithms and exploring the ways in which\, through their 
 vocabulary\, they challenge established interpretative models and invite a
  new hermeneutics.  \n\nMilad Doueihi has held the Chair of Digital Humani
 sm at Paris-Sorbonne\, the Chair at the Collège des Bernardins\, and the 
 Chair of Research on Digital Cultures at Laval University.  Working in and
  across the fields of philosophy\, religion\, and digital culture\, he has
  authored numerous books\, including A Perverse History of the Human Heart
 \, Earthly Paradise: Myths and Philosophies\, Solitude de l'incomparable: 
 Augustin et Spinoza\, Digital Cultures\, Le Matérialisme numérique\, and
  Pour un humanisme numérique.
