Cornell University

What’s Bugging You? Insects & critters of NYS is a 4 part virtual series. What makes an insect an insect? And are they different than bugs? This group of animals is the most diverse on the planet with an estimated 5.5 million species, of which only 1 million are known and identified. They outnumber humans in every way and affect our daily lives in many ways for good and for bad. Join us for one session or for all four!

Virtual Sessions will be held at 6:30pm on Wed. Feb 28th, Wed March 6, Wed March 13 and Wed March 20.

Each 45 minute long session will be jam-packed with educational fun. This series will unravel the mysteries of insects, with experts from Cornell University, Albany Pine Bush Preserve & 4-H educators presenting this program.

This education adventure is coordinated by Cornell University Youth Nature and Outdoor Environment Program Work Team.  There is no cost to participate and any enrolled Cloverbud, 4-H member, club leader, volunteer or any youth that wants to learn about insects may join.

Please enter each participating family member separately.

Thank you!
