About this Event
Michael Stevens, Professor of English at Cornerstone University, will be speaking on the environmental stewardship woven into the poetry and fiction of Wendell Berry. Prof. Stevens has written extensively about the works of Berry, especially Berry's notions of sustainable communities and active peace-making. Prof. Stevens grew up just outside of Ithaca in Harford, NY and is currently on sabbatical this semester.
This roundtable talk is sponsored by Graduate Christian Fellowship at Cornell, Chesterton House, and Au Sable. This event is also sponsored in part by GPSAFC, and is open to the graduate community. Admission is free.
