Join us from 8:00 to 10:30 and dance to traditional tango music. Argentine tango is an improvised dance based on walking, listening, and maintaining a connection with one's partner. It's not as aerobic as some other dance styles, but encourages creativity, relaxation, and awareness of body mechanics and coordinated movement.

Experienced dancers are available to learn from and practice with. No partner nor previous experience are necessary, but do bring your friends! Wear comfortable clothing and shoes whose soles are slippery enough to allow you to pivot freely. Socks will also work.

Come and give tango a try!

Offered by Cornell student group, Ithaca Tangueros.

If you go to the Baker Portico in Physical Sciences and there is a non-tango event going on, then we've been bumped. If that happens, look for us in Clark 700.
