Virtual Visualizing Data for Advocacy and Impact

Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 12:30pm to 2:30pm

Communicate information with visually appealing charts, graphs, and maps.

This workshop will share strategies, tactics, and software solutions that can help you visualize datasets for needs assessments, grant writing, market research, advocacy, and measuring impact. This session includes hands-on activities (laptops, tablets, phones encouraged) geared toward nonprofit and human services professionals. Dr. Aaron Krolikowski is a Buffalo-based research consultant who regularly creates maps and data visualizations for community-based organizations, foundations, and public service providers.

RSVP to buffalocommons@cornell.edu to be sent a Zoom link for this virtual workshop. This event is free and open to the public.

Buffalo Commons offers workshops that share knowledge for the public good on topics ranging from civic engagement and local policy to best practices in community-based research. These workshops provide technical assistance and capacity building for social sector workers and the public in WNY.
