http://www.alumniconnections.com/olc/pub/CEL/event/showEventForm.jsp?form_id=150428Together with Young Friends of The Arts (YFA) and the Ivy League Clubs of Israel, the Israel Cornell Club invites you to a special event in conjunction with the Israeli Opera’s production of Verdi’s opera Otello (based on Shakespeare’s play Othello) at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center on 27 April 2013.
All of the following Alumni Clubs of Israel have come together to work on this initiative:
Penn, Wharton, Yale, Harvard, HBS, Columbia, Princeton, Cornell, MIT, Sloan and Kellogg.
Event programme:
• 19.30 - Backstage tour of the opera (in English and Hebrew).
• 20.00 - Private Ivy League Israel Welcome Cocktail.
• 21.00-23.45 - Opera performance (one intermission). The opera will be performed in Italian with English and Hebrew subtitles.
• 24.00 - YFA cocktail, backstage, together with the opera singers, cast and crew.
Young Friends of The Arts is a Tel-Aviv-based non-profit organisation that brings mid-career professionals together to the Classical Arts.
YFA arranges hi-quality events with Israel’s leading arts institutions (e.g., IPO, Cameri/Habima Theatres, Tel Aviv Museum of Art) and functions as a bridge between mid-career professionals and the arts.

Please note that due to YFA’s charter to bring mid-career professionals to the arts, participation is limited to persons aged 25-49.
In this case, since we are co-hosting together with YFA, the age limit has been raised to 59.
