Come unpack ability, disability, and the spectrum in between when you come to this short, interactive workshop. Rooted in the Techniques of Theatre of the Oppressed, guest facilitator Morgan Andrews guides the group through games, discussions, and embodied experiences to uproot the nature of power, privilege, and oppression to build advocacy and allyship around dis/ability. We’ll also explore how moving beyond “dis/ability studies” and into “dis/ability justice” applies to other social strata, such as race, class, gender, age, and sexuality. People of all experiences are welcome.
