The United Way of Tompkins County (UWTC), together with several partners, is providing an opportunity for community members to help our food pantries and nonprofits during the annual Stephen E. Garner Day of Caring.

The Day of Caring culminates at a special campaign kickoff event Friday, September 23, 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., at the UWTC offices at 313 N. Aurora Street, Ithaca.

What to donate: The UWTC welcomes donations of shelf-stable food, household essentials such as toiletries and cleaning supplies, hygiene products, school supplies, and pet food and supplies.

Where to donate, look for drop locations in your department or drop off your items at 313 N. Aurora Street between Monday, 9/19, and Thursday, 9/22.

All items, no matter where collected, will be distributed to Tompkins County pantries and human services nonprofits by the end of the day on Friday, September 23.
