F.R. Newman Arboretum
Named for Isabel Schnapps Zucker, Cornell Class of ’23, the Zucker Shrub Garden, located in the Botanic Gardens’ F.R. Newman Arboretum, is a remarkable place to view perennials, shrubs, and ornamental grasses. Its “garden rooms” show how such plants can be used in inspiring ways. The shrubs featured in each room are selected for their flowers, fruit, fall color, and winter interest. Join horticulturist Nicholas Polato to explore the rich diversity of plants in this collection – the ideal place to draw inspiration for the home landscape. Walk will be held rain or shine; please dress appropriately for the weather. Pre-registration required as space is limited.
Fee: $12 general admission; free for Botanic Gardens members; Learn more about Membership here.
