Everyone seems to be talking about their “side hustle” these days, but what does that actually mean? In short, a side hustle is any money-making activity outside of one’s normal job. The idea of a side hustle actually dates back to the 1950s, but the term has exploded in popularity in recent years as more and more people have been forced to take matters into their own hands and find creative ways of making ends meet after the Great Recession.
