View map Free EventThe Shore Line (Liz Miller, Canada, 2016) will be screened as part of the 2018 Fingerlakes Film Festival (FLEFF) .
This documentary/new media project will bring together over 50 profiles of students, scientists, planners, teachers, activists, and artists from all around the world. Inspired by groups such as Displacement Solutions, we are profiling individuals and groups from Chittagong (Bangladesh) and GunaYala (Panama) who are taking the lead in planning for climate displacement. Motivated by the work of 5 100 Resilient Cities, we are visiting places like Long Beach Island (USA) and Vancouver (Canada) to see how communities are responding to and planning for disasters.
New Media Artist and Designer Liz Miller will be in attendance.
Co-sponsored by the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future, along with the following FLEFF films:
- 4/14, 1:40pm: Cheshire Ohio
- 4/14, 8:30pm: Entre Los Hielos De Las Islas Orcadas
