The Nether is a virtual wonderland that provides total sensory immersion. Just log in, choose an identity, and indulge your every desire. But when a young detective uncovers a disturbing brand of entertainment, she triggers an interrogation into the darkest corners of the imagination.
Part crime drama and part sci-fi thriller, Jennifer Haley's haunting play The Nether investigates the boundaries of ethics and human desire in a world of ever-changing technology.
The play includes mature content, appropriate for audiences older than 14. Lyn Staack from The Advocacy Center, who wrote a resource guide for the show’s program, will be doing a talk-back after the Friday night performance.
“The Nether” is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.
