LEPP Joint Seminar "Particle Colliders: Why and What?"

LEPP Joint Seminar, Tuesday, October 8, 2024, 1:30 pm
401 Physical Sciences Building

BEATE HEINEMANN
Professor, Universität Hamburg
Director for Particle Physics, DESY

Particle colliders have been essential in the quest of understanding the most fundamental
physics that has led to our understanding of what happened in the early Universe. However,
there are still many open questions that cannot be answered today. Beate Heinemann will
discuss what those are and which role colliders can play to answer (or at least address) them.
