Update: Due to the current situation, we are cancelling this workshop. We will be posting tax form FAQs on our website https://international.globallearning.cornell.edu/employment-and-taxes/us-income-tax-basics
International students are welcome to attend a tax information session, co-sponsored by the Graduate School and the Division of Financial Affairs. Representatives from Global Learning will explain the basics of the US tax system, why you should file a tax return if you had US income in 2019, and how to use the free software that Cornell has purchases for all non-residents. The Tax Compliance Office will discuss forms W-2, 1042-S, and other common tax forms. Questions will follow, and all non-residents are welcome to attend.
