Bees, wasps and hornets are ecologically valuable insects that provide pollination services and/or natural control of pest populations. However, the presence of these stinging insects near homes and schools can represent a health threat for allergic individuals. This presentation will cover techniques to discourage large colonies and how to manage them using non-chemical techniques. This program is part of the “Managing Pests Around the Home” Series.
