Sustainable Development: From Manhattan to Warren Hall - Parfait Eloundou-Enyegue

Friday, February 14, 2020 at 3:00pm

Warren Hall, B73

The United Nations’ recent Global Sustainable Development Report (GDSR), released last September at the UN’s General Assembly, offers a broad and authoritative review of current trends, obstacles, and prospects of achieving sustainable development worldwide. As such it offers a useful background to discuss possible professional opportunities for our newly-created department of Global Development. This presentation will summarize key findings from the GSDR, and outline emerging needs for training, research and policy outreach in sustainable development.
