About this Event
Join the Sustainable Cornell Council for updates on campus sustainability and climate change research, teaching and engagement. Our campus is a living laboratory for developing, testing and implementing solutions that address these most challenging issues, inventing and testing solutions for the future of energy, food, transportation, water, and more.
The address will include a keynote by David Lodge, the Francis J. DiSalvo director of Cornell University’s Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability, updates on key campus sustainability initiatives, and a Q&A with leadership from the Council.
The Sustainable Cornell Council is Cornell University’s sustainability governance committee for the Ithaca campus, responsible for directing and coordinating Cornell’s role as an international leader in addressing climate change and sustainability, advancing meaningful progress in our operations, and advancing active engagement from the campus community.
The Council includes three steering committees, a leadership team, and working groups charged with advancing selected priorities.
Submit questions ahead of time to sustainability@cornell.edu or on Zoom.
