Cornell University

Join the Sustainable Cornell Council for an update on the progress, priorities, and projects advancing our carbon neutral campus and sustainability efforts on the Cornell Ithaca campus. The address will include leadership remarks on key milestones and achievements in campus sustainability and climate leadership from 2021-2022 followed by break-out rooms for members of the campus community to connect across projects and units and advance new and ongoing sustainability initiatives.

The Sustainable Cornell Council (SCC) is Cornell University’s sustainability governance committee for the Ithaca campus, responsible for directing and coordinating Cornell’s role as an international leader in addressing climate change and sustainability, advancing meaningful progress in our operations, and advancing active engagement from the campus community.

The Council includes three steering committees, a leadership team, and working groups. Steering Committees identify working priorities and lead short-term groups each year with broad membership from the campus to advance sustainability projects, initiatives, and campus research.
