Join Cornell's annual sustainability scavenger hunt and complete sustainability missions across campus to earn points & win prizes.

Who will win?
All Cornell students & employees can participate from September 1 to September 15, 2022. Prizes will be awarded to the top four finishers, as well as four randomly selected participants.

Prizes

• Grand prize for 1st place: Lectric E-bike ($800) 
• 2nd place: Membership to Cornell Fitness Centers ($165) 
• 3rd & 4th place: Cornell Store gift cards ($50 each)
• All participants will be entered into four random drawings to receive a Learn to Climb pass ($35 each) from Cornell Outdoor Education
• Top scoring employee will win a Wellness Recreation Membership ($175), courtesy of the Cornell Wellness Program
   

Residential Competition
Live on-campus? 

• Team up with your neighbors to compete against other residential buildings to win a deluxe sustainable pizza party for everyone in your community!
• Simply add your building name to your username, e.g. Morrison-EzraCornell
• Every point you earn for yourself will also count towards your building's total. The community with the highest point total per capita wins.
   

How to participate

1. Download the GooseChase App for free on any mobile device.

2. Use code YL8643 or search for "Sustainability GooseChase"

3. Create a username & include your building name if you live on-campus, e.g. Morrison-EzraCornell.

4. Complete missions throughout the competition period, 9/1 - 9/15. The more missions you complete, the higher your score. Stay up to date during the competition by following Sustainable Cornell on social media.

Note: To be eligible to win prizes, you must successfully complete missions as described. Once the competition ends on 9/15 at 12:00pm, if there's a tie between top competitors, prize winners will be randomly selected amongst those who have tied.
