Sustainability 101 (Staff Training)
Wednesday, April 3, 2019 9am to 12pm
About this Event
Cornell recognizes the need for all managers to become better equipped to lead sustainable change within their units. In fact, 100% of Cornell staff members have sustainability in their job description.
This session, part one of Sustainability training provided through the Cornell Management Academy, provides an introduction to climate change (including the cause, evidence, and impacts locally & worldwide) and sustainable behavior change. Participants will learn how Cornell is responding to this grand challenge, and managers will explore tools and strategies for enacting sustainable practices within your unit & everyday work.
This session can be taken alone for users seeking basic sustainability knowledge, or paired with Sustainability 201 for complete training.
Registration is $50 and is required using the link below. Open to all Cornell staff.
