The Office of Global Learning invites all faculty and staff to celebrate International Education Week (Nov. 12-16) and our newly renovated space in Caldwell Hall.

We have invited William P. Hoye, a leading national expert on study abroad, to give a keynote titled “Legal and Risk Issues Facing International Programs.”  The presentation will cover risk assessment and crisis-management for international programs and address real life scenarios and recent court decisions on the topic.  It is designed for study abroad professionals, faculty who take students abroad, legal counsel, risk managers, counseling center and health center professionals, student affairs professionals, campus police, and others.

Following the talk, you are invited to stay for a reception with food and drinks and to see our new office space. This event is free and all members of the Cornell community are welcome.
