Spring Ephemerals of Broome County

Join the CCE of Broome County for a two-part series on local ephemeral plants. Part one will consist of an hour-long walk at Nathaniel Cole Park on Tuesday, May 16th to search for blooming ephemeral plants such as trillium, trout lilies, and blue cohash. Part two will consist of  an hour-long walk at Chenango Valley State Park on Tuesday, May 23rd where we will search for some blooming ephemeral plants such as gay-wing and pink lady slipper orchids!

Attending both dates is not required. Open to community members of all ages, free of charge. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
