Classes will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14th and Saturday, December 21st. We will be meeting at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center in Williamstown. The address is 748 State Route 183 Williamstown, New York 13493.
Participants will learn about different outdoor, winter resources that can be used for ornaments or crafting, such as pinecones, sticks and twigs, or even greenery. The group will be creating crafts that can be hung around the house for the holidays, or crafts to hang outside for our wildlife friends to enjoy during the cold season!
Sparks – Holiday Nature Crafts is available to Oswego County youth ages 5 to 18. The fee to participate is $15 per youth. A parent or legal guardian will need to attend the first session on December 14th if their child is not previously enrolled in the Oswego County 4-H Program; additional enrollment paperwork needs to be completed and signed at the first meeting. Children 5 to 8 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian attend every meeting with their child in accordance to 4-H insurance regulations. Registration is required as space is limited.
