https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/Astronomy_235Sparks - Astronomy is a four session, science 4-H club for Oswego County youth interested in astronomy and learning about comets, the Solar System, craters on the moon, and much more. This Sparks Club will introduce youth to what scientists have discovered about our planet and beyond and feel a new connection to our world each time they look at the sky! Projects in this Sparks will include making a comet from natural materials, building pop rockets, 'mapping' out the Solar System, and taking a trip to the Shineman Planetarium in Oswego.
Sparks - Astronomy is available to any Oswego County youth aged 10-18. The fee to participate is $15 per youth. Registration is required as space is limited. An adult must attend the first session on August 8th, if the youth is not currently enrolled in the Oswego County 4-H Program. An adult does not need to attend sessions with youth after August 8th.
