Please join the French studies program on Wednesday Dec 4 at 4:30pm in AD White House, Guerlac Room, for a talk by esteemed historian Sophie Wahnich entitled, "In Face of Crisis, the Responsibility of the Humanities and Social Sciences: A Detour by Way of the 18th Century and the French Revolution." Refreshments will be served.

Wahnich is the author of, among many other works, In Defence of the Terror: Liberty or Death in the French Revolution. Refreshments will be served.
