Embrace the winter in Oswego County with fun-filled, guided snowshoe hikes through the nature preserve at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center! This family-friendly program is perfect to explore the outdoors, learn about nature, and enjoy the beauty of winter in an exciting environment. Led by the Center’s environmental educator, participants will learn how to use snowshoes, spot animal tracks, and discover the hidden wonders of the forest. The hike is designed for all skill levels, making it a perfect activity for kids, parents, and grandparents alike. Bring your own snowshoes or borrow a pair from the Center - there is no additional fee to use a pair from the facility. Please bring a headlamp or flashlight for this moonlight hike.

Please dress appropriately for whatever the weather may be! Wearing winter boots or winter shoes that are flat are recommended so they can easily be strapped in.

The fee for this program is only $4.00 per person up to $12.00 per family. Children under the age of three are free.
