Have questions about how to get ready for a horse show? How about what equipment you should need according to 4H rules or what you should pack for a day at a horse show?
Come be a part of a comprehensive program that will take you through the world of horse showing from A-Z. Topics to be talked about and discussed include but are not limited to:
*Vaccinations needed
*Braiding and Banding
*Required Paperwork
*4H Rules and Regulations regarding equipment and rider turnout
* Tricks of the Trade—Easy and simple solutions that won’t cost an arm and a leg
* Trailer and Hauling safety
Hosted by: Oneida County CCE and given by 4H Resource Educator Michelle Smith and veteran horse woman Renee Sickler Kiger.

Where: Stop DWI building (up the road from the Farm and Home Center)

We encourage any leader, parent and youth that is interested in learning more to attend. With a goal to improve the quality and education of Oneida County’s 4H horse program, this exciting event is the first in a series to create a prepared and knowledgeable horse community.
