Sheri Sher is a founding member of The Mercedes Ladies, the first all-female MC and DJ crew in the history of hip hop. She and the group have been featured on BBC television as well as in magazines such as VIBE, VIBE Vixen, Stress, and The Source, and books including All About Hip Hop, Volumes I & II by David Toupe and Yes Yes Ya'll by Charlie Ahearn. The group received the Hip Hop Heritage award from icast.com in October 2000. Sheri has also worked in the psychiatry and criminal justice fields, and she frequently speaks to young women about self-empowerment. She lives in Harlem U.S.A.
