About this Event

In this exhibit we present pieces designed across time and with different goals by students and faculty from the Department of Fiber Science & Apparel Design. Though they were designed in response to a range of concepts and objectives, they are alike in the use of one or more of a triad of colors: black, white, and/or red. They differ in the reasons and meanings considered in the color choices, and in how the colors relate within the design. We invite you to view the individual pieces and the interactions of these three powerful colors with their forms and their functions.
