https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/S2SCCEMadison-2_225The Seed to Supper program is a beginning gardening course that gives novice gardeners the tools they need to connect with others in the community, grow in confidence and successfully grow a portion of their own food on a limited budget.
If you register below, you will be attending classes at the Canastota Library from 5pm-6:30pm. Please only register once. The system can be slow, give it time to work.
Each session at this location includes:
- Power Point presentation of the class curriculum with volunteer garden educators
- A Nutrition Lesson with SNAP-Ed Educators

You must make an effort to attend them all! There will be giveaways at each session. Giveaways vary but may include: gloves, soil knives, seeds, tool bags, plants and more.

April 19th: Planting Your Garden
April 26th: Caring for Your Growing Garden (part 1)
May 3rd: Caring for Your Growing Garden (part 2)
May 10th: Harvesting and Using Your Bounty (graduation party!)
August 16th: Outdoor Harvest Banquet 6pm at CCE Madison's Teaching Garden
New this year! Come celebrate the Harvest Season with current and previous years' S2S program volunteers and participants. Harvest out of our Teaching Garden and eat fresh off the land.
The Teaching Garden: is a garden planted specifically for the S2S program. We will be planting veggies, fruit (trees, blueberries and strawberries) and much more to help participants learn to garden. We'll work on the garden together and if you don't have space for a garden at home, you can adopt a bed or two of the Teaching Garden!
