In collaboration with the Finger Lakes Climate Fund for “Seal the Cracks: Local Carbon Offset Week“, Science Cabaret will be hosting a program for anyone interested in learning about how communities are responding to climate change.

Meet a cast of community leaders in an engaging and fun role-playing event.  

MC Mark Sarvary and host Gay Nicholson of Sustainable Tompkins will introduce you to local community leaders taking on the roles of an imaginary 2017 task force representing sectors such as public works, agriculture, and transportation who will try to make a case for what part of the $20 million in carbon tax revenue allotted to Tompkins County should be spent in the sectors they represent to either reduce carbon emissions or adapt to climate disruption.
