CCE Essex's Farm to School Program is offering Salad Garden Seed Kits to students in Essex County! These kits will contain five seed packets: lettuce, carrots, radishes, cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes, and a small amount of potting soil. These seeds can be grown in a raised bed, a container garden, or directly in the ground. We'll provide instructions and videos for seed starting, transplanting, direct seeding, tending to your vegetables, harvesting your vegetables and preparing a salad with your vegetables. We'll also be hosting a few live Q&A sessions throughout the growing season if you have questions about the process. 

The kits will be available for pick up at our office. If you are unable to pick them up, we will do our best to make arrangements with you school. Please indicate your ability to do so on the registration sign up page.
