Come learn how conservationists are protecting land and water resources within the Finger Lakes Region while considering emerging issues such as toxic algae outbreaks in our lakes, the siting of solar and wind energy facilities, and the need for habitat connections to allow plants and animals to adapt to climate change. Andrew Zepp is the Executive Director of the Finger Lakes Land Trust, a non-profit conservation organization that has protected 22,000 acres of significant habitat since it was established 30 years ago as part of a Cornell Master’s project. Mr. Zepp holds a BS in Cornell’s School of Industrial & Labor Relations and an MPS from the Department of Natural Resources in the School of Agriculture & Life Sciences. Sign Up Required
