Ever since Into the Streets’ founding in 1991, this student-led program of the Cornell Public Service Center has been responsible for planning and executing Cornell’s largest day of service for students. Every year, hundreds of Cornellians volunteer in Ithaca and throughout Tompkins County, working on projects at over 30 local non-profit agencies and gaining exposure to some of the issues that are affecting the local community.
