Re-wilding Ash Trees: MaMA Project Field Session

The MaMA project aims to re-wild ash trees through a cross-breeding program that utilizes local ash trees with a natural resistance to the invasive Emerald Ash Borer (EAB). The project relies heavily on citizen science (i.e. participation by members from the general public) to collect data on potential candidate trees. During this field session, a demonstration monitoring plot will be established and participants will become familiar with the data collection methods and software used by the project.
