 web uprisings and more. Join Cory Doctorow and a panel of Cornell Universi
 ty faculty members for a moderated Q&A about the collection of stories. \n
 \nPart of the Milstein Program's M Studio speaker series and is a required
  event for program first-years and sophomores. Students\, please come with
  your questions in mind! \n\nThis event is part of an A.D. White Professor
 s-at-Large visit and is cosponsored by the Milstein Program and the depart
 ments of History and Science & Technology Studies. Doctorow visits both th
 e Ithaca (Sept. 12-18) and Cornell Tech (Sept. 19) campuses in fall 2025 a
 s an A.D. White Professor-at-Large.\n\nCory Doctorow is a science fiction 
 author\, activist\, journalist and blogger. He is the editor of Pluralisti
 c\, the author of young adult novels like Little Brother and Homeland and 
 novels for adults like Attack Surface and Walkaway\, as well as nonfiction
  books like How to Destroy Surveillance Capitalism. He co-founded the open
  source peer-to-peer software company OpenCola\, and serves on the boards 
 and advisory boards of the Participatory Culture Foundation\, the Clarion 
 Foundation\, the Open Technology Fund and the Metabrainz Foundation. In 20
 20\, he was inducted into the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of
  Fame. \n\nQ&A moderated by Roger Moseley (Music\, Director of the Milstei
 n Program in Technology and Humanity)\, Ray Craib (History)\, and Suman Se
