Have you ever really stopped to think about the importance of water?  

We take it for granted because we can just turn on the faucet to get a drink, 

bathe or fill the pool.

In morning workshop we will learn ways that we can all help to conserve water and how to keep our water supply clean for us and our local wildlife. Presented by Oneida County Soil and Water

After lunch Jordan Ross, from Trout Unlimited will work alongside  CCE Oneida County 4-H Staff to help identify creatures that are living in the stream and discuss their importance to the ecosystem here at the Oneida County Cooperative Extension.

$10 non-refundable fee covers the cost of lunch and the Pond and a copy of the CCE publication Pond and Stream Safari Guide by Karen Edelstein

Payment must be received by close of business on 4/18/24

Please send your child with two sets of shoes.  One should be a pair of waterproof boots.

Please send your child with a second set of clothes.

Weather permitting we will be going outside and exploring the grounds here at CCE Oneida.  This could include planting trees and exploring the stream and wet areas located here on the property.

We always appreciate it when parents stay and lend a helping hand.  If you are dropping your child off then you must provide a medical release chaperone form (see link below).
