What can gardeners do to help conserve important pollinators in our world?  To find out, join us for a tour with Krissy Boys and Robert Wesley of the Cornell Botanic Gardens and Nikki Cerra of the Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures, who will introduce you to  to Cornell’s new “Botanic Buzzline” pollinator walkway, with a close-up introduction to plants most effective for attracting, feeding and sustaining healthy pollinator communities. (Garden tour will begin at the Dallas Garden Walkway behind Mann Library).   

This tour is being held in conjunction with a collaborative pollinator program co-sponsored by Mann Library, the Department of Entomology and the Cornell Botanic Gardens for Reunion 2019.  In addition to this tour, the program includes a 9:30 a.m. lecture on pollinator health  in Mann Room 160 by Cornell entomologist Scott McArt and an a 10:30 a.m. reception in the Mann Gallery celebrating Mann's newest exhibit:  Pollination: Artists Crossing Borders with Scientists to Explore the Value of Pollinator Health. All events are free and open to the public.
