This spring, PMA will be holding open auditions in preparation for the 2026-27 academic year's theatre productions. Join us on February 24, from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm, in the Black Box Theatre, Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts. Additional auditions and callbacks will be held on February 26 at the same time and location.

Open auditions are a great opportunity to get involved in upcoming theatrical productions directed, designed and built by our professional theatre faculty and staff. Auditions are open to all undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff of Cornell University. 

For the audition, students can do any combination from the below list. Prepare something for us that makes you feel comfortable and allows you to shine. 

• Perform a one-minute acting monologue, or a reading from a script of your choice 
• Perform a song and/or play a musical instrument  
• Perform a dance or choreography
