Plants of Latin America: A Bilingual Tour

Join us for a unique bilingual tour experience focusing on plants in our collection native to South America, southern North America (including Central America and the southwest US) and the Caribbean, such as culantro, naranjilla, and yerba mate.  The tour will be delivered primarily in English, with additional conversation and commentary in Spanish.  English and Spanish speakers of all proficiency levels are welcome to (re)connect with these plants and each other!  Walk will be held rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather. 

Fee: Free; donations welcome. Pre-registration is not required. 

Instructor: Mitja Bontempo, Horticulturist 

Location: Meet at the Nevin Welcome Center. Parking is free on weekends.
