https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/Streams101_233A Streams 101: Stream Basics and Planning for Flood Resiliency program will be held on October 22, 2014 from 2:30 – 5:00 pm at Gilman Center of SUNY Orange, Middletown, NY. This program is targeted for municipal staff and will provide basic information on stream dynamics – how streams naturally flow on the land, how streams respond to a disturbance, and problems that can arise from interaction with streams and human-built infrastructure, especially during flood events. Certificates of attendance for municipal training credit will be provided.
