 In recent years, "pollinator declines" have occurred in the form of range contractions and population declines of wild pollinators, or unsustainable losses of managed honey bee colonies. Multiple threats to pollinator health exist, including loss habitat, insufficient floral resources, exposure to pesticides, emerging infectious diseases, climate change, and inadequate management practices among beekeepers. Because there are multiple threats to pollinator health, there must also be multiple solutions if the goal is to improve pollinator health. This talk will highlight the evidence for each threat and its severity, then provide solutions that YOU can implement to improve pollinator health.
